Description

Qin Fen, known professionally as Roi, is a Chinese singer, dancer, actor, host, former member of South Korean group THE LEGEND and current member of Chinese group AWAKEN-F. Before debuting, he spent time as a trainee at CUBE Entertainment. After switching agencies, he made his debut in 2014 as the group's vocalist with their 1st single "Left Out". In 2016 and after 4 singles and 2 mini-albums, the members sued their agency, JK Space Entertainment (now called SS Entertainment), for not providing lessons or paying their invoices on time and CEO Park Jae Hyun was accused of fraud and embezzlement. In April 2017, they won the lawsuit and their contracts were deemed invalid but the group disbanded. He decided to return to China to continue his career and signed with OACA Entertainment. In 2018, he participated in the survival show "Idol Producer" and made it to the Top-20 but was eliminated in the final episode. Later that year, he became the host of the Chinese version of the show "Lipstick Prince" and also debuted as a soloist with the song "Show Me". A few weeks later, the agency decided to include him in their new boy band, AWAKEN-F, as the group's rapper. He is good friends with singer Jackson Wang and he also collaborated with him, releasing the single "Another" in mid-2019.
